Since January Fixation, has gone from strength to strength and is a brand we are truly proud of. On Thursday 28th May we held our shop launch party where a surprisingly large amount of Fixation followers and fans joined us down at the shop to indulge in some Heineken and festivities. When planning a launch party such as this there is a real fear of just the Fixation team sat in a room surrounded by balloons wondered whether anyone would turn up. Thankfully this was not the case with so many friends, family and Fixationers (we apologise for calling them this) turning up to support the brand and everything we are doing. The shop was bulging at the seams with the amount of people meaning that we also covered most of the street, sorry neighbours. The evening was a great success and we were truly touched by the praise everyone had for the bikes and the shop.
We feel it is important to give you a bit of background about the shop for those who could not make it down to the launch party. Having started as an online bike business we quickly realised the importance of letting the bikes do the talking and letting people interact with the bikes. This is how we ended up starting the shop and here is what you can expect from the shop:
Try before you buy
The shop is a chance to see the bikes in the flesh and give them a test ride. We are very proud of the bikes we have and went through multiple stages of testing to get to this point. Pop in and take a bike for a spin around Seven Dials, the london streets these bikes were designed and built for, pot holes and all.
Engage with other London brands
We carefully sourced a range of up and coming brands that we at Fixation are big fans of. In the shop we work and collaborate with: Men’s society, Finlay and Co, Closca, Hiplok, Plenish Juices and Hills & Ellis. Whether you need some accessories for your bike, head or just need an internal detox, come and try out these great products.
Save space and get 10% off
Fixation has a corporate partnership with the fantastic charity Re-cycle where we give 10% of all our profits to the charity. In-store you have the chance to read all about the work the re-cycle do as well as drop off any old bike you have. Any unwanted bikes dropped off at Fixation will be passed over to re-cycle who will ensure the bike gets to Africa where a bike is more than just a mode of transport, it’s your ambulance, schoolbus etc. On top of this we will also give you 10% off a new Fixation bike as a thank you for your support to the charity.
Finally we just want to say a massive thank you. The net of our thank you message spans high and wide due to the amount of important influencers and supporters of the brand and company. Thank you everyone who has helped out in any way, whether a compliment or giving up spare time to help with other aspects. The business would be nowhere without you.
